1.Contact IC Card is short for Integrated Circuit Card, with an integratedcircuit chip that can store, encrypt and process data sealed on a plastic card.The shape and size follow ISO 7816 standard. The chip is normally used uneasilyvolatile memory (like ROM and EEPROM), protection logic circuit or even with amicroprocessor CPU, which makes an IC card a real smart card.

3.Read and write principle of contact IC card
ICcard and application system is connected through IC card reader and writer,which is called IFD (Interface Device) in the ISO international standard. TheCPU inside IFD identifies and activates the IC card inserted through theinterface circuit, and provides a stable power supply and clock signal to thecard through contact, and finally completes read and write operations throughparallel communication, half duplex serial communication or I2C communicationwith IC card.
